Just had the whole home DVR installed with the 4742HDC Client in the master bedroom. The client can be set to pause live TV, and after pausing you can rewind to the point that you first paused the program. However aside from this there is no DVR functionality. You can't rewind live TV unless you had paused the program.
Seems like the functionality is not far off from using the host box and working in the same manner, avoiding the extra $10/month it costs to have two hosts. The technician mentioned that he had heard an update is coming for this box to enable this functionality. Has anyone heard the same? I'm trying to determine if I wait for the update or change it for a host.
