Before the latest "Upgrade" I could leave my Cox DVR box on a channel, and if I missed the beginning of the current show being displayed, and it looked interesting, I'd hit the record button, and the recording would begin at the scheduled beginning of the show, or at least back to the point where the channel was tuned in.
Now, most often the record feature simply truncates the show from the beginning up to the time the record button was hit.
This is a NEW "Feature" that amounts to a huge Downgrade to the usefulness of the record button.
What's the excuse for removing the original feature and replacing it with this downgrade ?
