I recently been through 2 Motorola MTR700 tuner adapter from cox and have been having issues getting them activated.
The problem is that the light on the front keeps flashing amber and never turns a solid amber color.
I've contact cox and have probably had about 7-8 phone calls with various different support reps and 1 tech come out and so far I have received a variety of different answers but none of them seem to get the thing working.
Just a note the cable card works I can see some channels probably about 75% of them but not others which I assume is because the TA is not working.
I'm currently using a HD Home Run Prime hear are the logs that I get from the MTR-700 DIAG Page

A couple of questions also that I would like to know.
The cox tech said that every time I unplug the power to the HD Home Run Prime that the DATA ID would change on the cable card and I would have call cox to have it paired again to the tuner adapter basically the TA would stop working. This seems to conflict with the statements that cox cs said because when I called them they would pair the cable card with the tuner adapter then tell me to unplug and plug the power from the tunner adapter and the HD Home Run and said that the data id would only change and repairing would only be needed if I actually pulled the cable card out of the cable card slot. I'm not sure whos giving the correct info?
Also the cox tech said that in order for the tuner adapter light to change from flashing amber to soild amber the HD home run and TA must be plugged in at the same time however a cox cs said that technically you can plug in a TA and leave the HD home run or any other cable card device off and the tuner adapter should automatically authenticate to the cox network and the amber light will turn from flash to soild amber. Again not sure whos giving the correct info?
After all this troubleshooting I'm not sure were to go from here because of various different responces I have recived from various different cox employees.
