dvr is garbage, service is worse

the DVR reboots, configs, and then shuts off....then it will not turn on again. I switched from Directtv and regret it every day. the equipment breaks, malfunctions, or whatever you want to call it, every 2 months since they installed it. I even had a tech who was working on the apartment above me, unhook my cable and hook up the apartment he was working on....I caught him doing it and a tech from Cox confirmed it. nothing was done to fix it for 3 days!!! I was on hold for 3 hours!! just to be told they were too busy to send someone out. I have complained numerous time, in writing and telephonically, nothing but patronizing apologies, total indifference, and continued bad service! ive NEVER been this unhappy or frustrated with a company in my whole life. the last time I called for service tech, again 3 days, and he never even showed up! Its just incompetence...if the company has gotten too big to service their customers properly, maybe they should scale back their service area....they can start with my area.
