Cisco 9865 HD DVR Issue

Twice now we have had several shows scheduled to record.  In the DVR list it shows scheduled to record but the DVR is not recording and none of the shows are on the DVR as recorded.  This has happened one other time and we missed a whole evening of shows that were scheduled to record.  

The only thing I could think to do was unplug the box and let it reboot.  This fixed the problem the first time for about a week to ten days.  Tonight we had the issue again.  I noticed nothing was recording on the DVR.  I checked the scheduled recordings and three shows were scheduled.  I unplugged the box and once rebooted the shows started recording in the middle of the programs.

I was just wondering if I should be unplugging and rebooting once a week or so or if this is a known problem and there is something I can do to fix it.  Also if the programs are not recorded they do not show up in the missed recordings menu either.
