Our Setup, The TV is hooked up to the Cox DVR using HDMI cable and it works fine including audio. Our sound bar is connected to the DVR using the "Audio/Video Out" (RCA cables) and now is not working. We have wireless ear phones connected to the only "TV audio out" connection. This problem started when the DVR remote, all of a sudden, caused problem with volume control, would not control volume and there was a strange looking volume bar on the bottom of the TV screen.
Cox is sending a new remove. We have another remote and in using it the TV works fine. Problem is the "Audio/Video Out" on back of DVR is not working for our sound bar. Switching connection to the TV "audio out" works. So is there some setting or change I should make to get the "Audio/Video Out" to work on the DVR?
