I have several TV's in my home all of which work fine but one. I have an outdoor entertainment center and the builder installed an HDMI cable from the cabinet in the Den out to the area above the fireplace where I mounted a tv. I connected everything up but I get the message that there is no cable connected. The straight line distance is probably about 15 ft. but they routed the cable around, up, and down to both locations so I am guessing the cable length is around 25 ft. Is this too long for the signal to get there? I hooked the tv up inside to the same cable box using a different HDMI cable about 6 ft . long and it worked fine so I know the box is working. Do I need some sort of booster?
