OnDemand Playback fails 50% of the Time

I have the whole house DVR that records up to six shows at one time.  Not sure who watches that much TV, but my problem is when I go to watch an on demand show, about 50% of the time, the timer bar on the bottom shows the show/movie starting, but there's no video.   I have to exit out and restart from the beginning (resume doesn't work) to actually get video on the screen.


Is this is DVR bug issue?  Operator error?

It's annoying and I'd like to get it fixed.

Any help would be appreciated.

(I'm also working on an internet speed issue that's existed since I turned the service on back in August - could that be a contributing factor?)
