My Cox services are as follows: TV: "ESSENTIAL" (Starter + Expanded), INTERNET: Essential), PHONE: Simply 3.
I have a Samsung HD TV. The cable goes directly into the wall (NO CABLE BOX). With all of the changes to the Cox channel lineup recently I attempted to reprogram my TV. Now it is a convoluted mess.
First I have duplicate channels and gobs of shopping channels. It USED to be that I had an SD channel and one click up was the HD channel (i.e 3, 3-1). And I was not getting all the channels I was paying for. After my attempt to reprogram the TV I now get channels in the channel 4-, 100-, 101-, 110- and 124- range. All the channels in the 100, 101 and 124 range are "scrambled, no picture". This is very annoying to say the least.
I am paying $63.99 per month to attempt to watch "Essential TV" which is not working well at all. I now pay $40 per month for internet that is quite slow actually plus my "Protection Plus" service has increased to $7.00 per month. This really is getting ridiculous even with the "Bundled Savings".
Does anyone know why my TV is acting this way and/or how I can lower my monthly bill? Thanks.
