I recently upgraded to Contour TV with the Record 6 DVR and client. Right away I noticed a couple of issues with the Contour TV guide as accessed from the box, not sure about from the app since I don't use it:
1. The TV guide no longer gives movie ratings (1 star, 2 star, etc).
2. On Demand does not list the year a movie was made
Is there a reason such useful information is no longer included in the description? Why make the effort to remove it?
Are there any plans to upgrade the TV guide to add the ratings back in the movie description or even better, add 3rd party ratings from sites like Rotten Tomatoes or other review sites?
The Contour recommendation feature in no way replaces the usefulness of movie ratings and no dates for On Demand movies is a real mystery.
