Contour Whole Home DVR does not work!

Does anyone else experience difficulty with the Contour Whole Home DVR system that requires the client boxes to continually be reset in order to watch a recorded show?

I seem to have to reset my client boxes (I have one Host, three clients) on a regular basis to either access a recorded show or use the "pause" function. I get the "We are currently experiencing problems wit your Whole Home DVR systems at this time.." message on an all to regular basis.

A knowledgeable sounding rep advised me to start at the host, then reset each of the client boxes. I have done that but the problem persists. Resetting four individual boxes each time I want to watch a recorded show or pause live action is too much to ask!

It is frustrating at best and nearly impossible at worst.

Other than switching to another carrier (DirecTV or Prism) is there a solution to my problems? I have been a Cox customer for 20-plus years.

I also would like to know if there is any way to change my ID name at the top of the posts. I mistaken put a subject into that line when I first signed up, now there seems to be no way to change to something else!
