I am having an issue with my cable card missing channels. I initially had issues getting the cable card working. I had a tech come out and he said everything looked good but he could not get it working that night. A couple days later I got it working with Cox phone support. I have never been able to get all the channels even though the tech that came out said the signal was good. I originally had a splitter on the line but the signal strength I was getting was about 80%. I removed the splitter and it went up to 89 or 90%. That corrected some of the missing channels but not all. I don't know all the missing channels but I know 1019 was one of them. So, I guess my question is, do I need some kind of amplifier or is there something else that can be done to improve the signal to get all the channels? Or could it be something else that is causing the issue?
