Have always been curious what the differences are between a power cycle (disco/reco power), a reboot (holding down power button) and a reset (where Cox sends a signal). And also the different kind of resets they can send. Anyone know the differences or are they just different methods for the same root purpose?
Last, why do some representives tell you to unplug the receivers for 30 seconds, while other say a couple seconds is good enough.This isn't so much a problem I am having, I am just curious and looking to debunk any possible misinformation. Thoughts?
