I have a Contour DVR (GSH9865) in one room. I want to add the ability to receive Cox HD channels (not just local) to a TV in another room. I suspect that adding a whole home client box will be problematic and cost upwards of $20, so perhaps adding a High-Definition (HD) Receiver (no DVR) at $8.50 will do the trick. Is $8.50 the total cost per month to receive all HD channels or do I have to pay additional charges?
I realize that CableCARD would be cheaper but don't want to buy a separate tuner, especially since CableCARD has been killed by the House and the Senate may agree soon.
