It amazes me when the service tech says they have nothing but problems with contour.
When you call in, there is a line for freezing, static, not recording...yes i have it all and this is within the first week of new unit.
I have asked to go back because the contour system is not ready! it gets stuck and if you are lucky enough to watch a recording it stops in the middle and freezes.
Why is my question? Why put something out that you know is not working and only frustrates the customer. I have been a customer for 22 years and never had such frustration on a product before. If it is not working, get it off the market and fix it! this would be the responsible thing to do, because you are losing customers just from word of month.
I would like to know why it does not work! and i would like to be reimbursed for all the days i have taken off to wait for cox to come out and service the units. I can not even begin to tell you about the new security stuff,because my house is 89 degrees and unable to get the cox thermostat working. It has been a problem since installation 2 weeks ago.
DO NOT GO with COX for any security
