Lost some of our channels last week during an outage, not just tv but internet and phone service.. Some hd channels and some of the lower channels are gone.. Contractor came out yesterday, spent three hours looking in the house for problem when we told him had to be outside because neighbors where having the same problem. There has been one coax that has been unattached from the outside box for probably 6-7 years if not longer and has never been a problem with getting any channels, so I had it coiled up, the contractor hooked it up still no change. But now this black coax is hanging from two boxes, very ugly. Does Cox have white coax to put outside and why send out contractors who cannot fix the problem. Very, very dissatisfied with Cox and its service. Don't like black coax hanging all down house anyway. Frame freezes sound distorts and reboots all the time now. In fact the tv is worse now after he left then before he came. Been a costumer for over thirty years and it is getting worse. Don't even know if sending out a true Cox tech would be any better, but I think I could do has good as some of the contractors, He was nice and I guess tried his best but geeze.
