I get the same message that I got when I last tried in 2014. "This service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.". I've tried 20+ times over the last 3 days - different shows, different browsers, same error. But hey, Cox finally enabled the <D> button. Maybe that programmer can rewrite the code for the Cox Android App. It doesn't work either.

cable-card pairing issues
I had an infiniTV4 PC tuner with cable-card for several years. I killed cable for several months and recently tried to get it back. 7 different support tech's have been to my house, none of which were "cable-card experts" as I have requested. They tried 3 different Type M cards, none will pair. My equipment is the same equipment that was working before I killed cable. Cox needs to flip the switch and turn it on. The Tech's were all very professional and courteous, but no solution. I would rather not complain to the FCC or Cox Corporate. It is possible to have 3 bad cable-cards. Frustrated!

The email looks very official, but I cannot respond to sender. I only have the option to click on "fix problem". This doesn't seem right to me. Where do I go to verify that its a good email from Cox?

On Demand and VCRs
Are there any plans to let us record On Demand to VCR to time shift like we used to be able to do only one year ago? It’s very frustrating when watching shows you can’t fast forward through. I frequently only watch half a show. I’ll go back in a day or two to watch the rest. Half the time, it doesn’t recognize I already watched half the show and it makes me start from the beginning instead of from where I left off. I’m stuck because I can’t fast forward and don’t want to watch the first half of the show again. Being able to tape the last half of shows was helpful. Also, we get free Showtime this weekend but I don't have any time to watch. It would be nice to be able to tape a movie or two to watch later.
Regional Blackout Message on NBC Sports Live Extra Application
I have been getting a message on the NBC Sports Live Extra application that games are not available due to regional blackouts. However the game is available on regular TV. I have logged out of the app. I have downloaded it again. Anyone know why this is happening?
Picture Scramble
Every few minutes, part of the picture on my TV scrambles and the audio either drops out or makes this funky robotic type noise. It only lasts a second or two. A message pops out but disappears so fast I can't read it but I assume it's something about loss of signal. The cords are all tight though.
Thoughts? It's really annoying.

Closed Caption in Simplicity Model RT-SR50 "big" remote?
How do we access the Closed Captioning control in the Simplicity Model RT-SR50 "big" remote? There's no 'CC' button, and the version 3.2 "Programming and Operating Instructions" manual doesn't mention Closed Captioning.
I'm trying to help my dad remotely, so don't have direct access to this remote. I see that it has "Settings" and "A/B/C/D" buttons but am unable to experiment.

Cisco DTA 250HD (Cox Mini Box) remote codes
I have been a cox cable customer for many years now, I have been a cable subscriber and use my media center PC as a DVR. Now with the switch to all digital I have to use the recently issued Cisco brand Cox Mini Box (from what I understand this is a Cisco DTA 250HD).
I have now switched to my XboxOne as my media center (since MS dropped support of Windows Media Center with Windows 10, however they will start allowing TV DRV with xboxone in the near future) so I thought all would be great again. However NO ONE seems to know what the remote codes are for this mini box??? I know others are having the same issue with Tivo and Harmony remotes. When can we expect to see these codes released?
This is unacceptable to release a device that you can ONLY control with the provided remote. I will soon be dropping my cable subscription and cutting the cord if this is not resolved soon.

Why did antenna channel turn into the luff channel? No Johnny Carson tonight!
Sometime today antenna channel 125 changed to the "laff" channel even tho the info button still says it is the antenna channel. Says should be showing Johnny Carson but is some dumb Steve Martin movie instead
Using DVR/VCR Combo with the Mini Box
We recently bought a DVR/VCR combo, mainly to transfer old personal videos to DVDs, but also to copy TV shows we are missing. Today when setting up, my son discovered since the equipment does not have a coaxial cable, it cannot go through the mini box. Is there something we can purchase (besides a different cable box) to help with this problem?

Contour Digital Output Settings
The Contour DVR includes options for digital output (Settings/Audio & video/Digital Output) - they are Pulse Code Modulated (PCM) and Dolby Digital (AC3). The volume of the Dolby Digital signal is _much_ lower than for the PCM signal - I have to increase the TV volume significantly in order to listen to the TV program when the Dolby digital option is selected. If I route the Video/Audio signals via my Receiver (AVR), again the volume of the Dolby Digital signal is much lower - I have to increase the receiver volume to hear the signal. (Dolby Digital makes more sense when I am using my AVR - since the AVR decodes the bitstream and has many more sound field options - the PCM signal from the DVR appears to be just a 2.0 stereo signal.)
I just don't understand by the Dolby signal volume is so much less than the PCM signal. Has anyone else run into this? Anyone understand what is happening? Cox support - is this normal behavior from the DVR?
